The "Fluctuating Footprints" comes from rethinking the field
of jewelry and what is its relation to the surface with
which always remains in contact; the Skin. From this, the
skin is understood as a material and three pieces of jewelry
are designed that mimic the appearance of skin and the
dramatic event occurring on its surface.
The design process includes the investigative exploration of skin
that is accompanying with the reference of terms such as entropy
and biomimicry, leading to the construction of the final concept of the
proposed design. Similarly, it is applied a phase of material exploration
which posed a quest to evoke the language of the skin, and what are
the possible ways of intervening its surface.
